Haru Haru

Living day to day without a plan.
No aim, no drive, no feel.
A repetition of yesterday.
And the day before.
Over and over again.
Like on a ferris wheel.
Responsibilities, wishes, dreams.
Rest on my shoulders.
Stressed trying to give any of it a hoot.
At 22, a stereotype surrounds me.
A job, honors or masters.
That’s what I have to do.
But I’m so lost.
Uncertain of what to do.
Wishing that everything will be served,
On a silver platter.
A job, an acceptance letter or a man.
Ha if only life was that easy.

Till the time I figure out what I want to do.
I hope that time is soon.
I’m just gonna live day by day.

Worshipping brings a smile to my face.
Sang this during service this afternoon.
It really hit home.

A little note.

Thoughts run helter-skelter in my head.
I want to let it out.
But I hold my tongue.
We are so different.
I have found the light.
But you stay in the darkness.
Understanding that I hold back.
Cause I know you will never get it.
Talking in circles.
A never ending cycle.
It’s so frustrating.
Time and time again.
Why make life so miserable?

Be thankful.
Cause life is beautiful.
Though you might not think so.
But you are so abundantly blessed.
Open your eyes and you will see.
That life is more.

I finally have an A1 for O levels!!!

I’m seriously amazed!
It’s all God’s doing.
Cause I seriously did not practice much.
And I was just a mess.
So praise God for my A1! (:

Thinking back…if only this A1 came earlier.
My life would have been so different.

Goodbye 2011.

Started the year on a pretty low note.
With school being a major pain in the butt.
But now on the last day of the year, it has come a full circle.
I finally got hands on my transcript, so that means I can’t be lazy no more.
Gotta start applying for schools or a job.
Bleh.

This year I also caught up with a couple friends.
Some were friends from a long time ago.
Some were those that I lost contact due to various reasons.
Glad to have them back in my life.

Tonight I’m ushering the new year at home.
In front of the tv as usual. (:

Earlier in the afternoon I went to church.
I skipped UrbanKidz today.
But was glad to find out that my kids have ‘graduated’!
My K2 kids were now on the third floor with the older kids and my K1 kids are now in the K2 class! LOVE! (:
They were so adorable and lovely.
Will miss them dearly.
Service was great.
Looking forward to another year at church.
Great plans ahead under Pastor Daniel’s leadership and I have a great feeling bout it. (:

After church I ended up helping one of my aunts at a new year’s party.
It was so much fun.
I got to make a new friend.
Learn how to DJ.
Feast on KFC.
Watch my aunt and mum MC.
Listen to great music.
Play my favorite music.
And earn some kaching kaching. (:

First Christmas party of the year! (:

Got quite a few pictures to upload but I think I’m gonna do them tomorrow.

Went for my Daddy’s Taxi Christian Fellowship Christmas Lunch.
3rd year in a row that I’ve went.
This year, apart from my family, my two cousins came along.
It’s weird cause we were the youngest people there.
NO ONE else brought their children. Hoho.
So lunch was GREAT! Like seriously, buffet = AWESOMENESS! (:
And better yet, buffet + salmon sashimi = PURE BLISS! Haha
As usual, I stuffed myself silly and suffered the consequence of a bloated tummy afterwards.
After lunch, we left for Orchard to meet Xuan to hang out.
And we went TRIFT SHOPPING! WOO HOO!
Too bad it was so freaking HOT at Scape and I wasn’t wearing shorts, or else I would have dugged through the luggages filled with treasures.
Sure would have spent a bomb but probably would have been worth all the treasures I would have found.
At the end, I only bought a pair of headphones for $5. (:
But Chris and Xuan got pretty good bargains.
Chris got a bag and denim jacket at $9 while Xuan managed to purchase a $15 BN bag for only $10!
AWESOMENESS!
In total, great day today spent with great company and eating great food. (:
Love hanging out with my cousins.
